How much does a clothing pattern cost?

The price of a pattern depends on how the garment is constructed and on the number of sizes. Here are real amounts, worked out with our price grid — graded pattern, render and tech pack included.

What drives the price

  • Construction — a t-shirt has a handful of pieces; a lined jacket has dozens, with interfacings and facings. That's what separates the categories.
  • Number of sizes — each size graded beyond the base size adds €20: grading is real work, not an option.
  • How precise the brief is — clear front and back views, a measurement chart and the intended fabric avoid back-and-forth — and revisions.
  • Materials — a stretch jersey, a knit or a technical fabric need different ease and construction from a woven fabric.
  • What's included — elsewhere, the tech pack and revisions are often charged extra. Here they're in the price, along with the assembly guarantee.
